Our first stop is in Tulum to follow the trails of this cliffside site. Admire the natural beauty and the ancient architecture. With our early arrival we aim to avoid the crowds and the midday heat.
Our second stop brings you to the monumental buildings of Cobá, surrounded by millenary trees and vegetation, a true immersion in the Maya jungle. Let’s go on a bicycle or Maya taxi ride to explore this enormous Maya city, its ballgame courts, its “sac be” (white trails) and the highest temple in the Yucatán Peninsula, Nohoch Muul, standing at 42 meters (138 feet).
Nothing beats a homemade meal, so when lunch is served you’ll enjoy a traditional Maya meal representative of the Yucatan cuisine.
The final stop of the day takes us into the jungle to visit cenote Choha (meaning crystal water in the Maya language). Relax, swim or float in the refreshing water of the Maya underworld.
Attention! Bring a reusable water bottle or thermos. The Parque Jaguar and the Tulum archaeological site do not allow entry with single use plastics.
Attention! Bring a long sleeved shirt (rashguard style) for swimming in the cenotes. The use of sunscreen or any other type of lotions is not allowed in the cenotes.
